Alderman O’Connor’s 5K Run/Walk and Early Voting

5K Run for Goldie’s Place

Bring the family out and join Alderman Pat O’Connor’s 5K Run/Walk for Goldie’s Place on Sunday, October 14th. As you take in the beautiful scenery along the race route winding through Legion and River Park, you may be inspired to push on knowing your efforts will go a long way in benefiting a very worthy cause.

Goldie’s Place is an amazing support center for people who are homeless. The organization’s main goal is to help participants transform themselves into healthy, hopeful, and productive members of the community through a unique combination of services including employability training, free dental care, and job placement.  For more information visit http://www.aldermanoconnor.com/  or contact Diane Sheehan at 773-769-1140 or ward40@cityofchicago.org.
