Remember to Shred It and Forget About It!!!

Don’t forget its spring cleaning season!  The time is now to get rid of those boxes of documents collecting dust and space in your house!  How about old cell phones or electronics?  Tomorrow June 6, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. till noon. Rep. Greg Harris and Ald. James Cappleman will be hosting a Shred Day and Electronic Recycling at 4544 N. Broadway.  (Just outside Ald. Cappleman’s Office)

Protect your identity by shredding unwanted personal, financial or confidential documents for FREE by a secure and professional agency!   Please remember to remove all your documents from binders and remove any paper clips as well before coming out to the trucks.

Also bring your unwanted electronics and have them recycled, too. Laptops, PCs, servers, monitors, and data storage devices, printers, fax/copy machines, cell phones, VCRs, DVD players, video cameras and game consoles are among the types of electronic equipment that will be collected for recycling at the event.  Your hard drives are wiped clean before they are recycled so that any personal information is removed and cannot fall into the wrong hands!
